AquaPro Reef Kal is a highly concentrated potassium supplement formulated to maintain appropriate potassium levels in reef aquariums. Potassium is involved in cellular function, nerve activity, and nutrient transport and is continually consumed in active reef systems.
Insufficient potassium may contribute to faded red and pink coloration, particularly in SPS corals, and potassium can be depleted more rapidly in aquariums using zeolite-based filtration.
A commonly targeted potassium range for reef aquariums is approximately 380–400 mg/L. Test regularly and adjust supplementation according to actual system demand.
