AquaPro Color Correction Fluorine+ is part of the AquaPro Color Correction Series, containing high concentrations of fluorine. Fluorine is one of the major trace elements found in seawater. In closed aquarium systems, the skimmer and filter media remove fluorine deposits from the water, so fluorine must be added. Fluorine is involved in the calcification process and maintains skeletal tissue. Sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride are the building blocks of the coral skeleton, so reef aquariums need fluoride supplements. The balanced addition of fluoride effectively enhances the blue-white color of SPS corals and enhances the fluorescence of most corals. It contains trace amounts of potassium and iodine.
