AquaPro Marine Buffer effectively and safely elevates the pH of marine environments to 8.3. Importantly, it will not push the pH beyond 8.3, even in the case of accidental overdose. AquaPro Marine Buffer is a unique blend and should not be confused with standalone sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, often used as alternatives, which can lead to hazardous pH elevations when mishandled. AquaPro Marine Buffer is composed of a combination of sodium, magnesium, calcium, strontium, and potassium salts, encompassing carbonate, bicarbonate, chloride, sulfate, and borate, ensuring comprehensive pH regulation.
Direction:
Add 5gr for every 80L of water. Dissolve the measured amount in a minimum of one cup of freshwater. This dosage will concurrently elevate alkalinity by approximately 1 meq/L. Administer daily until the pH attains stability at 8.3, which can vary from one day to up to a week, contingent on the initial pH and alkalinity levels. Subsequently, adopt a biweekly or monthly schedule to sustain a consistent pH of 8.3.
