AquaPro AiptaGone is a targeted treatment for nuisance Aiptasia anemones in marine aquariums. On contact with aquarium water, the formula forms a highly viscous, adhesive material that is designed to remain on the target rather than dispersing through the system.
The formulation is intended to encourage the Aiptasia to ingest the material while reducing the rapid retraction commonly seen with some direct treatments. Its adhesive action also helps seal the oral opening, limiting the release of planula larvae during treatment.
Apply only to the target organism and avoid unnecessary contact with surrounding corals or other livestock.
