AquaPro AiptaGone is a patent-pending formula composed of natural components that form a highly viscous, adhesive material upon contact with aquarium water. This unique property is critical for its efficacy: It is sensed as food, stimulating the Aiptasia to expand and ingest the material, preventing the typical defensive retraction seen with other treatments. The adhesive nature seals the anemone’s mouth, preventing the release of planula (larvae), which is the primary cause of Aiptasia proliferation when chemically or physically attacked.
Direction:
Apply directly to the oral disc (mouth) of the Aiptasia using the included syringe and tips until the anemone is sealed. Repeat treatment as necessary.
