AquaPro Liquid Praziquantel is broad-spectrum and effective against various parasitic worms such as flukes, tapeworms, and flatworms that commonly infect ornamental fish. It disrupts the parasites’ ability to metabolize calcium, leading to paralysis and eventual death. Liquid formulations of praziquantel are relatively easy to administer, especially for small-scale aquariums or individual treatments. It can be added directly to the water or mixed with fish food for oral administration. Compared to some other anti-parasitic medications, praziquantel is generally well-tolerated by fish and causes minimal stress. This is particularly important for delicate ornamental fish species. Praziquantel usually acts quickly to eliminate parasites, providing relief to infected fish within a relatively short period. This rapid action can help prevent further damage caused by the parasites.
