Description

  • Kanamycin-based broad-spectrum antibacterial medication
  • Useful for susceptible systemic and external bacterial infections
  • Absorbed through skin and gills
  • Suitable for freshwater and marine fish

AquaPro Kanacite is a kanamycin-based medication formulated for susceptible bacterial infections in ornamental fish. It can be absorbed through the skin and gills, making it useful when affected fish are not feeding normally.

The medication may be used for conditions associated with susceptible bacteria, including dropsy, popeye, fin or tail rot, septicemia, cloudy eye, and mouth rot. When appropriate, it can also be incorporated into medicated feed for targeted oral administration.

Many fish diseases can present similar signs such as clamped fins, lesions, swelling, or reduced appetite, so accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment selection are important.
