AquaPro Discus Buffer is formulated to help create and maintain the soft, mildly acidic water conditions commonly preferred by discus. It lowers and buffers pH while reducing general hardness (GH) by promoting the precipitation of calcium and magnesium.
Because softening water can reduce available minerals, AquaPro Discus Buffer is best used together with an appropriate trace-element supplement such as AquaPro Discus Trace to help restore important micronutrients.
