AquaPro Alkalinity Buffer will effectively raise pH and alkalinity (KH). AquaPro Alkalinity Buffer is designed for the planted aquarium or for very hard water, where phosphate buffers may pose algae or cloudiness problems.
AquaPro Alkalinity Buffer does not contain phosphate. An accurate level of carbonate hardness is essential for stabilizing pH levels. A sudden drop in the concentration of carbonates in the tank may entirely stop the nitrification process.
Direction:
Use 8g per 100L water daily until desired pH is reached, this dose
raised alkalinity by around 1meq/L (2.8dKH)
